Request for Information

When creating a form, the Request for Information option provides you the ability to send a request to a client to fill our information directly into the form. The client will receive an email with a link to an online form containing the fields relevant to them. Once they’ve filled them in, the form will automatically be updated.

A request for information can currently be created for the Residential Sales Agency Agreement (FM1110) and the Residential Property Management Agreement (FM6200), however will be rolled out to other forms in the future.

Step by Step Guide

In the main view of the relevant form, click the action menu button (the 3 dots) and choose “Request Info.”

Fill out the details in the new screen, including a personal message to the recipient and click “Send now.

When the form has an information request sent and in progress, a warning message will appear at the top of the form detail screen to advise that an information request is in progress. When an information request is in progress, the information entered by the recipient will overwrite the customer related information currently in the form.

The recipient will receive an email with a link to fill in their details into the form. The recipient will be able to fill in as much or as little of the form as they want.

Once they have filled it in, they click the “save draft” button. The information that they provide will then populate into the form.

A Request for Information side bar section will also appear on the form details screen showing the status of the Request for Information.

You can send multiple requests for information, but only once the previous one has been cancelled or completed.

You can cancel the request for information by clicking on the action menu and selecting “cancel request info
